I realize that it is May already, but I finally figured out why I couldn't download pictures from my memory card for the last month. Apparently the little tiny switch on the side that prevents any pictures from being erased was switched on, and that kept it from letting me download the pictures as well. But since I figured that out, and Jared and I leave for our trip to Boston and NYC in just 6 short days and will have tons of pictures from that to post when we get back, I thought I should do a little catching up.
For Easter we went to our wards annual Easter breakfast and egg hunt. It was really nice because for once Jared didn't have to go in early on a Saturday and so he was able to go with us. We are getting so many kids, I really prefer to go places with him than without because I need the extra hands.
Kimmy was really excited because she got to hunt for her eggs in the baby section, and the big kids weren't allowed to look there, so the little kids could get at least some eggs.
You'll notice that I don't have any pictures of Nate hunting for eggs because by the time I got over to his area, probably 3 or 4 minutes after the hunt started, all the eggs there had already been collected and the kids were already opening them up and stuffing their faces full of the treats inside. Stinkers!
This year I took Dana with me to the fabric store to pick out fabrics and patterns for the girls' Easter dresses. To my surprise, Dana picked out really simple easy patterns and so I was able to whip up both the dresses the night before Easter Sunday.

The dresses turned out very cute. I am going to have to learn this little skill I think.
Stop it with all your dress and costume making already!! You're making the rest of us wives look bad!
Seriously, you're amazing. Wish I could do what you do!
The Easter dresses came out wonderful! Great job!
